A Stop Motion is simply a longer gif. When you made your gif you used a tripod, kept the background still and moved an object or person. For a Stop Motion, you are telling a story using the same concept. You are taking multiple shots of something that is moving or changing. Your still frame shots are then put into a video editing software and they are all looped together to tell a story!
Due to the fact that we will be sharing cameras, tripods and computers, you will be working in a group for your first project. For project ONE, you will need to upload your group video to your own website. If you have a camera, tripod or editing software you are welcome to bring it in for this project.
Stop Motion (Project ONE): You are creating a very short stop motion with your group, based upon adding colour to a pre-existing colouring page. You will have 2-3 class periods to complete this project.

- DAY ONE: colour and photograph
- SPECIAL NOTE: When you take your very last photo, take TWO. Change the camera setting to the smallest image quality possible and take an additional photo of the finished product. We will be using that image for your gif project next.

- DAY TWO: upload photos to the imac, edit, add music and credits
- DAY THREE: upload to your website (using youtube), start Gif (colour)
Save the final image of your finished colouring page to each of your S:drives. You will be using that single colour image as a starting point for your Gif project.
